Ok... It's been clearly documented that I've hurt myself in some strange ways. I thru my back out sneezing once. I tweaked by back pretty seriously cleaning the bathtub one time. Well now you can add walking to that list. Last night I went for my walk, ya know trying to get healthy, and after I got back home I was kneeling down working on the satellite when I started cramping. Well I fell to the floor and rolled around like epileptic staring into a strobe light. Soon the cramp subsided but it appears that I cramped hard enough to pull a muscle. So needless to say this morning I can hardly walk. Gezz...I'm falling apart!

More Changes……

Yes, I've decided to make some more changes to the web site. I'm going to be hosting at least parts of this web site from here at the house. I'm going to start with mostly the high disk space items (pictures). For a few days there may be a couple of broken links or things that are missing but I belive it'll go pretty smooth. Since I'm on a DSL here at home I have a dynamic IP address. Anybody that knows anything about DNS knows that dynamic IP's cause havok. I think I have a pretty good system in place to handle this. Only time will tell. Email, FTP, and the main site will continue to remain on the current site. Thanks...

I’m Back……

Well this last week I took a couple of days off. That's the first time in a LONG time I've had two days of vacation in a row. I took Brandt and Jarrett to my Mom's for Halloween. We started with the drive to Lawton where we met Rachel to pick up Jarrett. We all had a very nice dinner at Lone Star Steak House. I was picked on a little bit for getting something kinda healthy. Something about the fish I was eating smelling like fish, go figure! I packed up the boys and headed for mom's. We had a great time doing the ole trick or treat thing. They got enough candy to rot pretty much every tooth in their head. Brandt was the guy from scream the movie, and Jarrett was Spiderman. His spidey mask was too big so we had to paint one on him. It looked pretty good but you know.... he's 4 so he can't leave it alone. Ten minutes into it he looks like his mascara is running. Now keep in mind, this whole time I'm pretty much on my death bed still sick from that damn witch doctor. We mostly just hung out the rest of the weekend. We went to Rachel's and stayed there for a little while. It was really nice to hang out with Rachel. We haven't had much of a chance to do that for the last year or so. Sunday morning we made our way back to home sweet home. Well we made it home so I could do some work. I know it wasn't the most exciting weekend, but it's been the most fun I've had on a weekend in a long time.

Well it's pretty much definate, I'm sick. I'm about a 1000% sure I got it from that damn doctor. I went in there healthy as a horse, and now look at me. I feel pretty much like a big puddle of shit right about now. I knew I was in trouble heading to a place where all the sick people hang out. I'm not to a point where I can break away and go home yet but I'm getting close. I don't mind working sick but what sucks is this is my weekend to take Brandt and Jarrett to my mom's. We were going to do halloween there. As far and I'm concerned I'm still ready to hang with the boys. Anyway, I gotta get. I have a server calling my name.

So I went to the doctor yesterday. It was pretty much a horrible experience as any trip to the doctor should be. I guess it could have been alot worse. I got some medicine for my heartburn. I've needed that for a long time. I also got some medicine for my allergies. They said my blood pressure was on the low side of normal so I guess that's a good thing. That means I can have more salt, right? I've got to go back for some blood test in the next couple of weeks. They are going to check out my thyroid and for diabetes, cholesterol, and a hundred other things. In January I have a an appointment for a full physical. We'll see how that goes.

OK... Strictly hypothetical situation here alright. Let's just say someone had been "NAGGING" you to go to the doctor for a very long time. Now you finally just wanted some peace in your world so you decide to go ahead and go. Knowing the guy is just a high priced witch doctor who behind the scenes is sticking pins in a doll that looks amazingly like yourself just so he has a little return business, you still go just to stop the insanity. Now let's just say that the "doctor" finds something or maybe it just doesn't go a pleasant as you would like, it's OK to blame that person, right? I think they must be held responsible for anything that comes out of that appointment. After all with out all the "NAGGING" life would still be perfect. Now keep in mind that this is strictly hypothetical, buuuuuutt...... I'll let you know tomorrow how the appointment goes.

A night at the fair……

So we went to the fair tonight. We meant to go early this afternoon, but I had some work coming in from the UK, so I had to take care of that first. So we got off late and then sat in traffic. It's about a 30 minute drive that took damn near two hours. After we finally got parked and started in we found out the traffic was due to a Dixie Chicks concert there. Now I like the Dixie Chicks as much as anybody. But I wasn't likeing them too much tonight. I had a pretty good time. It was alot of walking and we had a light rain most of the time, but other than that it wasn't too bad. And yes the freaks were out in force. They weren't as freaky as the freaks at the Delaware State Fair but they were still freaky. Tonight I also realized that fashion has evidently passed me by long, long ago. I think the thing I notice the most was some of the clothes these girls were wearing. They were wearing my most favorite colors, short and tight. I guess that's the deal now a daze. Now I'm not complaining or anything but I know if I had a daughter I wouldn't let her out of the house looking like that. She'd have to wear a long overcoat, a duster, or something to cover herself. Anyhoo.... It's way past my bed time. I really need my beauty sleep.

Rachel, Happy New Car Day! She got it yesterday. It's a Cherokee Chief with leather seats and power everything. How hot is a chick in a jeep, pretty much as hot as a chick in a pickup truck. Anyway, things are looking a bit better at work. I guess only time will tell but for now things look like they might be turning upward. I sure hope my stocks turn upward. Of course even if they do, it's a long, long way to break even. I really need to learn something about stocks before I go jamming money into some of em.... Well anyway.... I need to finish watching Friends before I head back to work. Gotta get my daily dose of Jennifer Aniston!
