Ahhh… Finally the beginning of the end….

So it's almost christmas. Here in the office we were all setting around telling each other what we were doing for christmas. I mentioned I was headed to my ex-wife's house. Well then I had to explain the whole Rachel story. I think I've had to explain that to just about everybody I've meet. If she was the typical "Evil Ex-wife" that is so prevalent throughout society then I wouldn't have to explain anything, but she's not. I truly have the best ex-wife in so many different ways. She knows this so it's not really a surprise to her as she reads this. Anyway, work is pretty much at a stop today. I've been meaning to work on the web site but as of yet the mood hasn't hit me. I have Brandt at home doing laundry for me. He's so gooooood..... Anyhoo.... I need to get back to doing nuthin...

What’s with TX schools….

When I was a kid we got out of school like three times all year. A day or so for Thanksgiving, a week for Christmas and New Years, and a week for spring break. That was pretty much it. Maybe a day or two thrown in her or there. Now in Texas it's a little bit different. Brandt gets 17, count em, 17 days off for Christmas. Hell that's long enough to forget where your school is even at. He got a week for Thanksgiving and lord only knows what they will get for spring break. They get every holiday on the calendar off, even MLK and Columbus day. Hell It wouldn't surprise me if they got flag day and arbor day off a well. This is all great for the kids except they have to go back to school in some cases the first week of August and they don't get out until well into June. If I was a kid I'd be pissed off, them messin with my summer vacation. Take me back to Oklahoma, where the grass is brown, the dirt is red, the roads are bad but at least we had three months of summer vacation.

Ok, so it's really more like 15 or 16 pounds but I don't want to get overly excited. What's scarry is I haven't really been trying much. Being on the right medication do make all the difference. Since I haven't had ANY heartburn I haven't had to keep my stomach full. Before I ate even when I wasn't hungry cuz I had to keep something on my stomach to hold everythign down. Now I only eat when I'm hungry. I'm liking it enough that I might just start heading back to the gym soon. :P

I know some of you have been good little girls and others have been bad girls. Santa is watching......

OK, I know it's been a few days since I've posted, but I have my excuses. I think I'm having some serious PMS or something if that's possible. I've just been kind of out of it lately. I've had like a thousand things going on in my mind and nothing to say about it. You know the feeling. Anyway, I think I've feeling better now. Anyway, I hope to have a REAL post up here shortly......

Well, It's offical I'm back. I took a little mini-vacation over Thanksgiving. I did the ole Okie Triangle, Dallas, Altus, Mustang, and back to Dallas. It was a lot of driving but it was REALLY nice getting to see everybody. Makes me really homesick, well more than usual I mean. I missed the Dallas Cowboys game this weekend because of all the visiting but I did get to see Okla State beat up on OU so it WAY made up for it. So much I watched it a second time on Tivo after I got back home. Anyway gotta get back to work....

Well it really isn't that long until Christmas. As everyone probably already knows I'm not really into holidays of any kind much less christmas. With that said I pretty much hate doing anything involving the holidays. I order to lessen my holiday stress levels I've decided to put Brandt and my christmas list on the web site. That way we only have to give the damn thing out once. Keep in mind that this is not only a list for the masses but also a list for ourselves on things we want to work toward so they may not all be feasible gifts. No NASCAR….. :(

So it's week 1 with no NASCAR. I thought it was going to be the worse sports day of the year. No NASCAR, the cowboys really haven't been around too much this year. Even with that there was a small light of hope. Although the cowboys bus must have been late getting to the game cuz they really didn't show up until almost the second half, the did finally show up. It ended up being a decent game. Not great mind you but decent. At least it was something to take my mind off of the Tony Stewart/Winston Cup thing.... Anyhoo....

I think I have a Dr. Jeckel/Mr. Hyde thing going on here. Every once in a while I'll get these freaky hairs in my eyebrows. I only get one at a time. They are about 3 or 4 times as long as my normal eyebrow hair and they are white. Not grey, not blonde, they are white. I dunno what to do about them. I get like 1 every other month or so. I just cut them off really short and they don't seem to come back too quickly. But when they do come back, they grow to full length in about 2 days. I dunno, is there something wrong with me? That's a rhetorical question. You really don't have to answer that.

I know I've been kind of MIA the last few days, but I'm back now. I dunno what was up with me. I think it was a hormonal thing, but I'm feeling much better today. Did anybody see this meteor shower last night. Why do these kind of things always happen at like 4 o'clock in the morning. They never happen at 9 or 10 at night.... or maybe noon. It's always 4am and since nobody in their right mind is up at that time they video tape it and show it on the news. I'm sorry but it really looses something when you are showing a meteor shower on the news. I mean, who though up that one. Probably the same guy that sends the reporters out in the rain to say, "yup, it's raining!" "It's really wet out here." and "Look at the wind blow!" Now I have way to many issues with that last one to even get into. Anyway, I need to get back to babysitting users. Nobody has forgot there username or password yet today, so I'm sure it's coming soon. See ya's.....
