Hot Stuff

So last Saturday night my A/C started to go out. By Sunday morning it was flat on it's ass dead. So far since the failure there hasn't been a day cooler than 100 degrees. I've been pretty damn miserable and on top of that, it's been hot too! :) Anyway this afternoon the A/C guys FINALLY came out and fixed it. Or at least I'm hoping. Right now I'm calculating how long it takes for this house to go from like 1000 degrees back down to 68 degrees.... Bring on the penguins!

More about the toe!

So this morning my toe had changed from the dark purple of yesterday to a redish plum colored with about half the swelling. It's truely a site to see. Unfortunatly I didn't get day 1 pics. I do have day 2 pics but they are still in the camera so and I'm sure the world doesn't wanna see my toe anyway. Today I took Brandt to his new student orientation to get him ready for his first day of the new school. He seems pretty calm and collected about it all but I know better.

Changes

As you may, or may not have noticed the web site is going through some changes on the back side here. I got it on an upgraded server. It's way over kill but, hell, that's what I'm all about. Yes, it's still linux/apache but it's a different flavor. There are still a couple things I need to tweek to get everything back up but I think the biggest part of it is good to go....

More Good News

Normally when you call to check on an account and you puch in your number to find your balence or your last recieved payment it's a pretty sad chore. Then if you call and for some reason it can't find your account and the system bounces you around till you finally get in touch with a customer service rep that's also not a good thing. BUT, when the reason that it can't find your account is because it's paid off, zero balance, over, done, or finished this is a good thing. My final truck payment finally cleared and I offically own it now. ''''yay'

Oh yeah baby!

So today I had my 3 month review at work. It went really well. Not only did they say a lot of really nice things, but I also got a raise. It was a really huge rasie or anything. It was only 4% but that's not bad after only 3 months. They also put me on their bonus program which was really nice. So I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with the company.

P.S. YAY, Brandt comes home tomorrow!!!!!

Dreams

So I went and flew on Saturday. I've slept twice since then. How many flying dreams do you think I've had since then? That's right, two. I tend to have a lot of flying dreams anyway. Now with that all said what do you think I did all day today at work. If you said "research on the internet what it would take to get certified flight instructor" then you'd be pretty close to correct. I think I'd probably even give up computers for that job. Now just so you know, flying dreams weren't the only dreams I had last night. I also had a dream I was at Mom and Dad's and that Iraqi Information Minister guy was trying to steal my Jeep. I chased him down the street with a tire iron and then stood in the middle of the block yelling at him that I was the Greenwood Drive information minister and that he was not near my jeep. He wasn't even on the block and we were chasing his rabid ass down as we spoke. That was about the time I woke up.
